β€œFPMI Courses” is a collection of open course materials for the subjects taught at the Phystech School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of MIPT. The website format makes it possible to combine lecture notes with interactive plots and visualizations, site-wide navigation and cross-references between topics.

The site is intended primarily for FPMI students and instructors, and also for anyone else who finds these materials useful. The catalog and the curriculum help show which courses are covered; the content of a published course is on that course’s own page.

1 Project status

This is a personal initiative of the author of the courses and a pilot project to turn lecture notes into an interactive web format. As of the latest site update, it is not an official resource of the school and does not replace official course pages, LMS, the timetable or the assessment rules.

The site is being developed with a view to possible cooperation with the school. The terms of such cooperation, including the status of the materials, the composition of the editorial team and the rules for using MIPT branding, will be published only after they have been officially agreed.

More about course statuses, review of materials and error correction can be found on the page β€œMaterial status and editorial policy”.
